A King

This weekend and today we celebrate the life of a Legend. A man who fought for justice and equality for all mankind. A man who's vision shaped and changed the world. His dream. .still lives on. Today celebrate this holiday and EVERYday by giving back to your community. Volunteering, lending a helping hand to your fellow brother or sister in need, or verbally providing encouragement.
We have come a long way. .but still have a ways to go before Dr. King's dream is to be our reality.

Remember his words not only in this day but always.

“Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'”
“Whatever your life's work is, do it well. A man should do his job so well that the living, the dead, and the unborn could do it no better.”
“Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”

“We are not makers of history. We are made by history.”
“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”
"Everybody can be great because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love"

Happy Birthday and Thank you for the legacy you have left for us not only to admire but a legacy that will act as a flame leading us to the promise land of tomorrow.
All Hail a true King. .~*

Picked up by "Codeblack Films" a subsidiary of Lionsgate they will bring to life one of the most known urban book characters "Tracy Ellison" of Omar Tyree's book trilogy that all started with "Flyy Girl". I have been reading Omar Tyree's books since I was 17 and he is honestly one of my FAVorite authors. A little on Mr. Tyree. . (Woo. .Isn't he Handsome!!) A child of the 70's Tyree was born and raised in Philadelphia (he let it be known that he is a "100% Philadelphian) with a strong stepfather who was a role model and a disciplinary that gave him the freedom to explore and put him in line anytime he strayed. Tyree became a fan of classic fil...
