In honor of the late Reggae phenomenal singer Bob Marley, K'La's video was premiered on 106nPark today as the New Joint of the Day. The song was produced by son of the late Marley, Stephen Marley. K'LA's very unique voice has graced radio waves as a new hot spring joint, off her recently released mixtape, "Coldest Winter Ever". K'LA is signed with Def Jams Record, of course her record deal did not just fall in her lap, K'LA had to work to pursue her dream. K'LA is originally from Gary, Indiana, but later moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked as a waitress to pay for studio time. Eventually she met Music Line CEO Anthony “T.A.", she sung for him, and he then signed her to his label. She is now in the studio working on her debut studio album. K'LA is inspired by classic artist such as Lauryn Hill and Alicia Keys. We are definitely going to keep an eye on her, and looking forward to what else K'LA has to offer. God Bless Diva!!!
