SophistiKat "Book Spotlight"

Every month there is a book selected for the "SophistiKat Book Club".
This month however I wanted to shine the spotlight on a book that is just a fabulous read. .and perfect for the upcoming season. .SUMMER. .

       "Single Girl Summer"

About the book. .
Relationships aren't complicated. . .People are!!

Button Jackson* knows two things for sure: all men cheat and all women are rivals. So it's no surprise that the impeccably dressed restaurateur hasn't had a serious boyfriend, close girlfriend, or any connection of substance in years.
Meghan Cherry* has the opposite problem. Reeling from a painful divorce, the techie with a desire to unleash her artistic side, can't figure out why her relationships end with nothing when she gives so much.
Attorney, Dawn Martin* is stuck somewhere in the middle. Waiting in purgatory for a marriage proposal that just won't come has molded her into a woman she swore she'd never be.

Against the backdrop of hot days and cool nights in Chicago and armed with red cups of Single Girl Sangria, Button, Meghan, and Dawn share stories, perspectives, and advice on everything from open relationships to open-toe shoes. They come together by chance, grow together as friends, and ultimately discover that for every girl, there's a season.

About the Author. .

Deanna Kimberly Burrell is a successful businesswoman, marketing maven, published author, and popular speaker. Her first book, Voted "Most Creative"- Perspectives on Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Happiness, is a collection of poems and essays that inspire creativity, growth, and self-expression.

Single Girl Summer is her first novel and it's more than just a story of sophisticated friends having fun in the big city. Single Girl Summer is a celebration of women - yes, their strengths and weaknesses but more than that, their ability to pull themselves up by their designer bootstraps.

It can be read on a Girl's getaway weekend, perfect for a book club, or just the simple pleasure of relaxing and reading. I found it via one of my "sisters" on Facebook whom I noticed liked the official fan page. I checked it out and had it ordered. I completely understood why several others followed by liking the page and supporting the book and author. I LOVE IT!!

Please check out the official website for the book http://www.singlegirlsummer.com/ There you can purchase your copy, check out the blog, and purchase "Single Girl Summer" merchandise!!
(They have cute fitted tee's ladies. .perfect for the Single SophistiKat)

9 Types of Sex Every Woman SHOULD Have

There are a million different ways to twist the sheets. Just check the Kama Sutra, but no one can try them all. That said, there are a few types of sex every woman should experience at least once. Ladies, LISTEN UP, because if you haven’t done the deed these nine ways, you’re totally missing out!! I’m Sorry Sex* Otherwise known as make up sex. It’s what happens when that thin line between anger and passion is crossed and the result is most often spontaneous and mind blowing. Vacation Sex* It’s not for everyone, but we’re here to tell you, sex in paradise with a gorgeous man you just met can often be the most thrilling kind. (As long as it’s safe sex, of course.) He’s mysterious and gorgeous and he makes you feel sexy – a recipe for vacation bliss.
