Steve Harvey is Back "Straight Talk, No Chaser"

In the instant number one New York Times bestseller Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, Steve Harvey gave millions of women around the globe insight into what men really think about love, intimacy, and commitment. In his new book he zeros in on what motivates men and provides tips on how women can use that knowledge to get more of what they need out of their relationships, whether it's more help around the house, more of the right kind of attention in the bedroom, more money in the joint bank account, or more truth when it comes to the hard questions, such as: Are you committed to building a future together? Does my success intimidate you? Have you cheated on me?

In Straight Talk, No Chaser: How to Find, Keep, and Understand a Man, Steve Harvey shares information on:

How to Get the Truth Out of Your Man
Tired of answers that are deceptive? Harvey lays out a three-tier, CIA-style of questioning that will leave your man no choice but to cut to the chase and deliver the truth.

Dating Tips, Decade by Decade
Whether you're in your twenties and just starting to date seriously, in your thirties and feeling the tick of the biological clock, or in your forties and beyond, Steve provides insight into what a man, in each decade of his life, is looking for in a mate.

How to Minimize Nagging and Maximize Harmony at Home
He said he'd cut the lawn on Saturday, and you may have been within reason to think that that meant Saturday before ten in the evening, but exploding at him is only going to ruin the mood for everyone, which means no romance. Steve shows you how to talk to your man in a way that moves him to action and keeps the peace.

And there's much more, including Steve's candid answers to questions you've always wanted to ask men.

Drawing on a lifetime of experience and the feedback women have shared with him in reaction to Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, Harvey offers wisdom on a wealth of topics relevant to both sexes today. He also gets more personal, sharing anecdotes from his own family history. Always direct, often funny, and incredibly perceptive, media personality, comedian, philanthropist, and (finally) happily married husband, Steve Harvey proves once again that he is the king of relationships.

The Diva's of VH1 "Basketball Wives" are BACK!!

Last season proved that being the wife or girlfriend of a pro basketball superstar may have its perks, but once you peel away the bling and first-class luxuries, the glitzy glamour train often jumps way off the rails. Season 2 is one scorching summer in Miami fans will never forget!

Just like last season on Basketball Wives, we'll follow the extraordinary lives of Royce, Jen, Evelyn, Suzie and even a few new faces. Joining the inner circle is former The Real World star and basketball ex Tami Roman, who joins old friend Shaunie O'Neal, who herself is checking into beautiful Miami for her first single summer in years.

Last season set out to prove that these women, who've spent years being married to larger-than-life personalities, are really just the same as everyone else. Viewers watched them cope with marriages on the rocks, divorces, single motherhood and rough patches in their relationships just like those experienced by women all over America.

Season two finds our ladies facing down old issues and new alike, with even more dramatic outbursts and heart-rending emotional moments than before.

This is the series return VH1 viewers have been waiting for.

R.I.P. Prince Hall 1735-1807

Prince Hall, one of Boston's most prominent citizens during the revolutionary period, was the founder of the African Lodge of the Honorable Society of Free and Accepted Masons of Boston, the world's first lodge of black Freemasonry and the first society in American history devoted to social, political, and economic improvement.

Not much is known of Hall's life before the Revolution. He was born in 1735 and was the slave of William Hall of Boston. His son, Primus, was born in 1756 to Delia, a servant in another household. In 1762, at the age of 27, Hall joined the Congregational Church, and soon after, married an enslaved woman named Sarah Ritchie. Eight years later, after Sarah's death, he married Flora Gibbs of Gloucester.

A month after the Boston Massacre, William Hall freed Prince; his certificate of manumission read that he was "no longer Reckoned a slave, but [had] always accounted as a free man." Hall made his living as a huckster (peddler), caterer and leather dresser, and was listed as a voter and a taxpayer. He owned a small house and leather workshop in Boston.

It is believed that he was one of the six black men of Massachusetts named Prince Hall listed in military records of the Revolution, and he may well have fought at Bunker Hill. A bill he sent to a Colonel Crafts indicates that he crafted five leather drumheads for the Boston Regiment of Artillery in April, 1777.

In 1775, Hall and fourteen other free blacks joined a British army lodge of Masons who were stationed in Boston. After the British departed, they formed their own lodge, African Lodge No. 1, though it would be twelve years before they received a permanent charter. Hall became the lodge's first Grand Master.

Hall was active in the affairs of Boston's black community, using his position as "Worshipful Master" of the black Masons to speak out against slavery and the denial of black rights. For years, he protested the lack of schools for black children and finally established one in his own home.

In his last published speech, his charge to the African Lodge in June 1797, Hall spoke of mob violence against blacks: "Patience, I say; for were we not possessed of a great measure of it, we could not bear up under the daily insults we meet with in the streets of Boston, much more on public days of recreation. How, at such times, are we shamefully abused, and that to such a degree, that we may truly be said to carry our lives in our hands, and the arrows of death are flying about our heads....tis not for want of courage in you, for they know that they dare not face you man for man, but in a mob, which we despise..."

Prince Hall died on Dec 4, 1807 at the age of 72. A year later, his lodge honored him by changing its name to Prince Hall Grand Lodge.

Cavaliers fans packed the Quicken Loans Arena last night to witness what they thought would be a slaughter for the Heat. Signs reading "I hate LeBron James," with t-shirt quotes like "The Lyin' King" or "Judas & Brutus & Benedict & LeBron," filled the arena. Hostility was high in the building last night. Despite LeBron James' unwelcomed return to Cleveland, he came out on top! With his mind-blowing 38 points, the Heat soared to a 118-90 win over the Cavaliers. James overcame adversity and reigned supreme on the court. Though Cleveland went through great lengths to display their hatred towards James, he told journalists he had nothing but the utmost respect for the city and its fans. You can get stats, more interviews, articles and catch highlights of Miami's win over Cleveland at

Female Rapper Khia does a review on the "Pink Friday" album and calls it TRASH! Right before the review, Khia wanted to make it clear that she was not "HATING" on Nicki Minaj, but she was rather unhappy with the album itself. After reading her blog, it was clear that this was more than an album review, but it was personal.

Here is a just a small portion of what Khia wrote:

"Shout out to the stylists and photographers who done a spectacular job, airbrushing and styling this “Dungeon Dragon” because we all know that this “Lint-Lizard” doesn’t look like this in person…. It’s AMAZING what a little make-up and camera angles can do!" is where Khia's PINK FRIDAY album review can be read
